Ryanair releases £5 ticket sale

Passengers looking to travel from UK airports such as Manchester, Leeds Bradford and Gatwick could take an interest in a newly released summer sale.
Low-cost carrier Ryanair has released 500,000 tickets for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in June at a cost of £5.
Released yesterday (May 17th), the fares apply to all of the airline's 500 European routes but must be booked before Thursday this week.
Ryanair chief executive Stephen McNamara commented: "Only Ryanair sells Europe's lowest fares with a no fuel surcharge guarantee.
"In addition to our lowest fares, we also deliver Europe's number one on-time performance across over 1,100 routes."
The £5 fare includes taxes and surcharges but only applies to customers who pay with MasterCard Prepaid, travel with carry-on luggage only and forgo priority boarding.
In other news, Ryanair will operate extra flights between Dublin, East Midlands, Glasgow Prestwick and London Stansted airports and Alicante, Faro and the Canary Islands today in order to support passengers stranded by the Icelandic volcano.
