Low-cost carrier Ryanair has announced a sale on tickets for travel during June.

All of the airline's flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in June are priced at £8 if booked before midnight on May 27th.

The deal applies to 500 of the carrier's routes from UK travel hubs such as London Heathrow, London Luton and Manchester.

Passengers wishing to take advantage of the deal must pay with MasterCard Prepaid, travel with carry-on luggage only and forgo priority boarding.

Stephen McNamara of Ryanair said: "Passengers can book our one million June seats for just £8 for travel on over 500 European destinations in June."

He added that the tickets would be "snapped up fast", advising customers to book soon to avoid disappointment.

Ryanair offers flights to many holiday hotspots, including Alicante, Malaga, Rome, Madrid and Barcelona.

Yesterday (May 24th) saw the airline open its 42nd base at Malta, offering 19 routes and creating around 800 jobs.
