Ryanair Announce New Routes.

03/12/2011

From the 27th March 2012 Ryanair will be offering flights to Almeria in Southern Spain from East Midlands Airport.

Almeria is a beautiful city, with a cathedral which has the out ward appearance of a fort, rather than a church. There is also an actual fort, built in the early part of the 10th century, the mosque within the fort was converted into a Catholic church called: Ermita de San Juan. The Costa Almeria is a stunning and varied coastline, depending on which area you are in. There are large sections which have been given over to agriculture, where there is little to be seen other than the enormous greenhouses growing fruit. Further along the coastline there is the Albuferas de Adra Natural Reserve, which is home to some wonderful wildlife, particularly birds. Along the coast there are plenty of beaches and hidden coves, most of which have to be reached on foot.

There is much to explore in the area, fantastic local food, music and culture. Why not book your parking at East Midlands in advance? There are huge savings to be made, for a quote click here.
