Jet2.com Launch Flights from Glasgow.

Jet2 have announced that they will begin operating flights from Glasgow International. The destinations available are perfect for getting some Winter sun, including Alicante, Ibiza and The Algarve.

Ibiza has garnered a reputation as being for hedonists, looking to dance and party the night away. While this is certainly true of some areas on the island, predominantly Ibiza Town, on the South coast, and Sant Antoni to the West of the small Island but not all of Ibiza is like this.

The government have committed to new legislation meaning that all new hotels will have to be 5 star, as well as greater restrictions on licensing laws. The legislation has been introduced to encourage a wider range of tourists. The northern half of the island is much slower moving and more culturally motivated than the southern side. For example, “God's Finger” in Benirràs Bay a rock formation in the entrance to the bay.
