Advice for Travelling at Christmas.

22/12/2011

Other than the obvious hazards of bad British weather there are other considerations to bear in mind. Traffic will inevitably be worse than usual, the AA are predicting as many as 18 million cars on the roads, Thursday the 23rd December is expected to be the worst day for travel on the roads. There has also been road works on the entrance roads to Luton Airport.

There are also less obvious considerations, for example, if the Border Agency cannot see the contents of wrapped present using the x-ray scanners, they WILL unwrap it; it may be better to wrap any gifts once you arrive at your destination or keep them in checked luggage.

The current restrictions on liquids will apply over the festive period, including items like snow globes and any larger drinks bottles will have to be put into checked luggage.

If you find you are running late for your car park booking or meet and greet service please contact them on the phone number on your voucher.
