Birmingham received a solid four out of five stars in most of the categories, which included Airport parking, catering facilities, information and delays.

Birmingham airport is owned by Airport Group Investments Ltd (AGIL), owned by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and Victorian Funds Management Corporation (48.25%), various West Midlands district councils (49%) and the remaining shares are part of an employee share trust. There has been massive (£243 million) investment in Birmingham airport, improvements include a larger security area and an extended runway, allowing larger planes to use the airport.
