Jet2 Announce Holiday Trends For 2012.

Low cost airline Jet2, and their sister company Jet2 Holidays have publicized the apparent trends for holiday makers in the North East in 2012.

There is a definite rise in the number of ‘All Inclusive’ holidays, in fact, so far, 60% of the family holiday bookings made through Jet2 Holidays have been all inclusive. It is safe to assume that this is due to the ease with which you can budget for these holidays. For younger couples, who are holidaying without children, culture has been the main reason for their choice of destination, with night life being a less important factor than in previous years though Ibiza is still very popular. Previous trends of people heading for the Med are continuing, with Greece, Spain and Turkey continuing to dominate Summer bookings. Turkey is of particular interest as it is easy to combine a beach holiday with cultural exploration.
