Weather Warning for West Coast of USA.

Forecasters are warning of severe delays and cancellations due to an unusually heavy snow storm heading towards Washington and Oregon states on the West coast of America.

Though there has been a mild spell for the region in the last few weeks, the weather is expected to change dramatically over the next 24 hours, with as much as five to ten inches of snow (the areas annual snowfall) in one day.

While it is not expected to cause the problems experienced in the UK, heavy snowfall is expected in the region every year, but there will probably be delays to flights like Seattle, Portland and also the western side of Canada; Vancouver and Calgary for example. The weather may also effect any planned activities you have for your stay.

Advice is to check with your airline on-line before arrival at the airport, and be prepared for delays.
