New Route from Gatwick to Gothenburg.
19/01/2012
Norwegian Air Shuttle (ASA) are continuing with their expansion into UK airports with the announcement of a route between Gatwick and Gothenburg, Sweden.
The flights will be available all year round, giving you the opportunity to see the many special events that happen in Sweden’s ‘second city’. There is something for everyone, whether you’re going to relax, take in some culture, try Europe’s up and coming ‘foodie’ destination or an adventure, Gothenburg has it all.
It is also a very good choice for adrenaline junkies; sea-kayaking, mountain biking and rock climbing are all available on the city’s doorstep. For the foodies, Gothenburg has five Michelin starred restaurants, as well as more sea food than you can imagine. A visit to ‘A Taste of West Sweden’ will whet anyone’s appetite. The scheme was launched in 2000, and connects over 20 local eateries (restaurants, cafes) and local suppliers, offering food for the general public to try. There are also art galleries, museums and child friendly activities like the Seal Safari.
