Ryanair Add Another Route From Leeds Bradford.

23/01/2012

Ryanair have has a double celebration recently, as they announced the twenty seventh route from Leeds Bradford, and their four millionth passenger through the airport on the same day.

The new route is to Barcelona Reus Airport, in Spain. The airport offers access to Barcelona, but is much nearer the town of Reus. The town was the birth place of Gaudi, unfortunately, there are no examples of his work here. There are, however a number of spectacular examples of Spanish Modernist architecture. Throughout June the town plays host to a series of festivals, or fiestas, with dancing in the streets, parades and carnivals.

Reus acts as a good place to be based while still being able to explore the whole region, it is advisable to rent a car while staying there. There is an easy drive of around six miles to several sea side resorts on the Costa Dorada, many of which are beautiful and unspoilt. But if you are looking for a more exciting holiday Reus is also very nearby Portaventura, in Salou. Portaventura is one of the largest theme parks in Europe and incorporates an aquatic park with slides and rides.

Flights from Leeds Bradford to Reus are available to book now, with flights starting on the 30th March. To book parking for Leeds Bradford, click here.
