Jet2 To Fly To Paris.
26/01/2012
Jet2 have announced a new route from Manchester to Paris, in France. The flights will be available from March until November 2012, but flights can be booked now.
There is not much that hasn’t already been said about Paris, it is the city of romance, of lights, an artistic haven and an intellectuals delight. Strolling past the cafes where Hemmingway used to take his afternoon coffee, Simone De Beauvoir debated the struggles of women in the modern world with anyone who would listen and, more recently, Amelie left clues for her secret love to follow over the Basilique du Sacré Cœur (Basillica of the Sacred Heart).
There are obvious things to do in Paris, walking along the Seine, seeing Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Eifel Tower, there are also hidden corners and charms of the city. In Paris, more than anywhere else in Europe, ‘fortune favours the brave!’ Look out for hidden gardens, free waking tours and libraries, some of which, at The Sorbonne, are stunning, and free.
If you are planning a trip to Paris from Manchester, book your airport parking in advance with Park and Go to save some money for the delights of the French capital.
