New Route To Cancun.

Virgin have announced that they will be offering flights to Cancun in Mexico from London Gatwick in June this year.

Cancun has a similar reputation to Las Vegas and Ibiza, if you are there, you want to party. Originally the city was conceived to be a competitor to Acapulco, it’s safe to say that it has over-taken the competition in visitor numbers. Last year the city attracted nearly four million visitors, most of them from the US, but with more flights available than ever before from the UK, the Mexican people should prepare for an influx of UK visitors.

While there are parties to be had, on a nightly basis in Cancun, there are also many cultural and activity tour companies based in Cancun. There are tour buses available to Xcaret, which is an eco-archaeological park approximately 34 miles south of Cancun offering snorkelling, an aquarium and other activities.
