72-screen Digital Signage Installation For Manchester Airport

A new digital signage network has been installed in Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport.
The installation, which was carried out by Pixel Inspiration, consists of 72 individual 84-inch screens and 72 Panasonic PTD 5700 dual bulb projectors.
Positioned above the check-in desks, the screens span a length of 116 metres and will display advertising and information messages.
The screens will also make it easy for passengers to locate the relevant check-in desk.
A similar installation was set up by Pixel Inspiration in Terminal 1 last year, which comprised 97 screens.
Jackie Neville, head of product development at Manchester Airport, said that the results were "excellent".
"The scale and quality of airline content has created a new navigational tool, making the process of finding check-in desks far simpler.
"The screens also provide a great opportunity to target passengers whilst they are queuing with essential airport information."
