Security Measures

This car park has CCTV and 24 hours patrols. Airparks have been awarded the Park Mark Award for Safer Parking.

Transfer Information

Transfers operate 24 hours. You should normally allow 30 minutes to check in and transfer to the airport. During the morning and afternoon busy periods you should allow more time to compensate for traffic delays. Please note that between the hours of 2.30am and 3am there will be a break in the transfer service. The next bus will run at 3am.

Arrival Procedure

When you arrive at Airparks Cardiff, park in one of the marked bays and make your way to the bus shelter. Here you will find the new Autopilot self check-in kiosks.
Please make sure you have your printed email confirmation or your booking reference to use with the self check-in kiosks.
The system will guide you through your check-in - it's extremely easy to use. If you do need help, there will always be our experienced staff on hand to help you.
Once you have checked in, drop your car key into the secured box, and board the bus. Your car will be parked for you while you transfer to the airport.

Return Procedure

Follow the pedestrian walkway and zebra crossings across the drop-off lanes in front of the airport, and make your way down the steps to the Airparks bus stop and shelter. The bus runs 20 minutes.
Once you're back at the car park, head to the check-out building to the left of the bus shelter. At one of the machines, scan the barcode on your key collection ticket. The machine will tell you where your car is parked, and your car keys will be returned. Then you can just collect your car and head home.
If you have any problems, just press the assistance button - there will always be a member of staff on hand to help you.

Additional Information

Vans and Large vehicles are not accepted at this car park. You will be required to leave your keys.

Driving Directions

From the M4:
Leave the M4 at junction 33 and follow the A4232, which is signposted Barry and Cardiff airport.
Take the first exit off the A4232, which is signposted Barry, Cardiff airport, A4050, A48 and Cardiff centre. At the roundabout take the third exit, which is signposted A4050, Barry and Cardiff airport.
At the next six roundabouts follow signs for the A4050, Barry and Cardiff airport.
At the seventh roundabout take second exit, again signposted A4050, Barry and Cardiff airport.
Take the second exit at the eighth roundabout.
At the ninth roundabout, take the first exit. The entrance to Airparks and the Sky Plaza Hotel is about 200 yards down the road on the right.
