Birmingham Airport Staff Help Tree-planting Campaign

Birmingham International Airport has yet again proved its commitment to supporting local environmental activities.
Staff recently armed themselves with spades to take part in a day of tree planting at Sheldon Country Park, in support of the Birmingham Trees for Life campaign.
Doing their bit to aid the campaign, which was founded by Birmingham Civic Society and City Council, airport staff planted a variety of trees, including mature varieties and saplings.
Andy Holding, community affairs manager at Birmingham International Airport, commented: "Birmingham Airport is always delighted to support and engage in projects such as Trees for Life as part of our commitment to invest in the local community.
"We are always looking at different ways to help local people where the impact of the Airport's operations is at its greatest and where our support is most needed."
The airport supported a similar project last year, funding the planting of 40 established trees in the Radleys Park in Sheldon.
