Bmi Regional Launch East Midlands Service To Cologne

East Midlands Airport (EMA) flyers are set to benefit from a new route to Cologne, operated by bmi regional.
Flights will depart daily except for Saturday, with one-way fares starting from £49.
Cologne is the fourth-largest city in Germany and a major cultural centre of the Rhineland.
Art-lovers will be able to enjoy the vast number of galleries, offering a wide range of different exhibitions.
Cologne is also home to one of the biggest street festivals in Europe, which takes place in February.
Caroline Plant, director of marketing and communications for EMA, commented: "Cologne and Bonn are both historical cities and excellent places from which to explore the rest of the Rhineland and Germany.
"The direct flights will also prove popular with business users, whether they are conducting business in Cologne, Bonn or elsewhere in Germany. We are anticipating a huge demand for these flights."
Last year EMA was awarded 'Best Regional UK Airport' at the Travel Weekly Globe Awards.
