Bmibaby Announces New Cardiff Service To Barcelona

Cardiff International Airport users are set to benefit from a brand new route to Barcelona, announced by bmibaby yesterday (Thursday, March 13th).
From May 24th this year, the airline will operate a twice-weekly service to the Spanish city, with flights departing on Tuesday and Saturday.
Just under a month later, bmibaby will increase the service from June 18th by introducing an additional flight on Wednesdays.
Flights go on sale today, with fares starting from £24.99 one-way, including taxes and charges.
Patrick Duffy, managing director of Cardiff International Airport, commented: "bmibaby is clearly committed to further growth of its Cardiff network which is vital to the Welsh economy.
"We are sure that Barcelona will be a firm favourite with both business and leisure travellers from Wales and the west. We also look forward to encouraging visits to Wales by Barcelona's citizens."
