Bmibaby To Offer New Routes From Manchester

Manchester Airport flyers are set to benefit from two brand new routes to Lisbon and Madrid for summer 2008.

bmibaby has announced that from June 17th this year, it will operate a twice-weekly service to Lisbon, with flights departing from Manchester Airport on Tuesday and Sunday.

The new route to Madrid will begin service on June 16th 2008, with flights operating on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Fares for both of these destinations start from £24.99 one-way including taxes and charges.

bmibaby will also introduce a new four times-weekly service to Barcelona, with flights departing on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from September 8th, 2008.

In addition, the airline will add an extra flight to its Ireland West Knock service.

Tim McDermott, director of aviation development for Manchester Airport, commented: "We are delighted to see the start of two exciting new routes to Lisbon and Madrid. With bmibaby now offering flights to Barcelona and increasing the frequency of flights to Ireland West Knock this will allow passengers a great range of choice."
