Bristol Airport Introduces Self-service Kiosks

Users of Bristol International Airport are set to benefit from the introduction of self-service kiosks.
Passengers travelling on Air France and KLM flights will be able to bypass check-in queues, using the passport readers built in to the three new kiosks to confirm their details.
Other airlines operating from Bristol are expected to sign up to the new system soon, which has been made possible by the introduction of a £1 million IT platform at the airport.
It is anticipated that the kiosks will result in time-savings for passengers.
Paul Davies, operations director at Bristol International Airport, commented: "Self-service check-in is quicker and more convenient and will give passengers more time to work or relax in the departure lounge while waiting to board flights.
"Through the introduction of new technology like this, we believe Bristol International can continue to offer a convenient and stress-free choice for business and leisure travellers across the south-west."
