Budget Airline Considering South Africa Service From Stansted

A new low-cost service between the UK and South Africa has been given the go-ahead and could launch within the year.
Andy Cluver, a South African aviation entrepreneur, revealed that the carrier would be called Redair and that it would fly from the African nation to Stansted five times a week.
Mr Cluver said that the route would fly to either Cape Town or Durban.
According to the Telegraph, plans also involve flights from Cape Town to Barcelona and Malaga.
The service on the flights would be basic, but passengers will be able to pay for extras, such as meals, films and access to business-class facilities.
It is thought that seats would start from as little as £142 one-way, excluding tax.
"Our tickets will be selling from £142 for a one-way flight, but if you want frills they will be available [at an extra cost], Mr Cluver commented.
