EasyJet Launches New Route From Glasgow

Passengers in Scotland received welcome news at the end of last week when it was announced that easyJet was launching a new daily service from Glasgow to Berlin.

The new service will see flights leave Glasgow at 09:20 BST and arrive at Berlin Schoenefeld at 12:30 BST.

The return flight will depart Berlin at 12:50 BST and arrive in Glasgow at 14:00.

Currently easyJet operates almost 30 different routes from Berlin and has become the low-cost airline's largest base outside of the UK.

Although Berlin operates more easyJet routes that the established terminals at Luton and Stansted airports, the airline also has a good record for its operations at Glasgow.

Figures compiled by airline punctuality website flightontime.info, easyjet was the third most punctual carrier from the airport.

The average delay for passengers waiting at Glasgow was 8.26 minutes, while 85.84 per cent were kept waiting for less than 15 minutes.
