EasyJet Launches New Service From Liverpool

One of the UK's largest airlines, easyJet, has launched a new service between Liverpool and Innsbruck in Austria.
The inaugural flight on the route took off yesterday (January 8th) and the service will now operate three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
With tickets currently starting at £24.99 one-way including taxes, the airline believes that 10,000 passengers will use the service this winter.
David Osborne, easyJet's UK general manager, commented: "easyJet has seen a huge increase in flights to ski and summer destinations this year, reinforcing easyJet's position as the favourite airline for independent travellers, providing convenient low-cost flights from your local airport."
Innsbruck is the provincial capital of the Tyrol and is situated in the valley of the Inn River between the Alps and the Tuxer Mountains. It is close to many of Austria's ski resorts, meaning that the new flights could be great for winter sports enthusiasts.
