Eos Launch Dubai And Newark Services From Stansted

Eos Airlines is to launch a daily service from Stansted Airport to Dubai.

Nick Barton, business development and planning director of Stansted, welcomed the announcement, saying that it was "fantastic news" and "another positive step" in the airport's ambition to develop its long haul services.

"Dubai is already established as a key destination for both business and leisure travellers, and its attraction to investors - particularly second home owners - will ensure this excellent new service from Eos will be greeted with excitement and delight by passengers from across the region."

Eos will also begin operating a new connection to Newark in New Jersey.

Mr Barton commented that this would provide an "enhanced service" for both business and leisure travellers wanting to travel to New Jersey.

He added that it was Stansted's ambition to increase its number of destinations from 160 to 200 in the future.

Daily flights to Dubai will begin in July, while the Newark service will be operating from May.
