GATWICK AIRPORT PARKING NEWS - 20/11/2008
Parents looking to entertain the little ones this winter will be pleased to learn of a new route from Cimber Air.
The low-cost Danish carrier will begin offering flights from London Gatwick Airport to the city of Billund.
While a worthy visitor attraction in its own right, the city in the south of Denmark is also home to Legoland, one of the most popular family visitor attractions in Europe.
From November 24th the airline will begin flying from the capital with a schedule of return flights everyday excluding Saturday, running until March 29th.
The service will depart from the London hub at 1655 and arrive in Billund at 1930 from Monday to Friday, with Sunday seeing a departure time of 2030, arriving at 2305.
What's more, the firm is also offering a special fare offer of just DKK495 (£56) one-way for bookings until December 31st.
Cimber Air operates 122 departures each day across 17 routes and served in the order of a million passengers in 2006-2007.
