Faro Service Launched At Glasgow Airport

Users of Glasgow Airport can now benefit from the introduction of a new service to Faro, launched on Tuesday (April 22nd) by easyJet.

Fares start at £23.99 one way, with flights departing from the Scottish hub every Tuesday and Saturday, offering Glasgow flyers a direct service to the popular holiday destination.

Between June 26th and August 28th the number of weekly flights to Faro will be increased to three, in order to better cater for passengers during the busy summer period.

David Osborne, easyJet's UK general manager, commented: "Another popular destination on the easyJet network has landed in Scotland. This direct route to Faro has already proven a popular choice and will offer all Scots the opportunity to experience the glorious Algarve from their local airport.

"Forward bookings for the route have been very strong which further proves the demand for direct low-cost flights from Glasgow to the sun."
