First Choice Adds Extra Exeter Services For 2008

First Choice has announced that it will base an aircraft at Exeter International Airport for the summer of 2008 and that this will mean that the company can offer flights to some new destinations.
Previously, the holiday package company had operated flights from Exeter as part of its winter schedule, but this will be the first time the firm commits to the hub for the whole year.
The plane will fly a new route from the south-western airport to Rhodes from mid-July 2008 and also be used to increase the frequency of services to Larnaca, Corfu and Palma.
Neil Morris, spokesman for First Choice, explained: "The based aircraft for Exeter from next summer will be an Airbus A320 with 180 seats."
Jeannette Linfoot, product director at First Choice Holidays, added: "First Choice are absolutely delighted to now offer year round holidays from Exeter, opening up three new routes to Corfu, Ibiza and Rhodes, in addition to our existing destinations including Lapland, Majorca, Portugal, Tenerife and Turkey, to name but a few."
Both Flybe and Flyglobespan also operate from Exeter International Airport, flying to destinations like Alicante, Amsterdam, Dublin, Edinburgh, Faro and Newcastle.
