Gallery To Showcase Local Talent At Luton Airport

Passengers using London Luton Airport will be able to enjoy a new gallery which opened at the hub last week.
The airport has committed to support a number of community projects this year and the Gateway Gallery, which aims to create exposure for local artists, is one of these.
The first artist to exhibit in the gallery will be photographer Janis Coles, a member of the Artists Network Bedfordshire, whose work explores effects of natural light.
Simon Earles, general manager of planning and corporate social responsibility at London Luton Airport, commented: "We are delighted to give local artists the opportunity to display their work in the airport, not only does it provide great exposure for the artist, it enhances the passenger experience.
"The Gateway Gallery is one of many projects we hope to support during 2008."
The gallery is located in London Luton Airport's arrivals area and forms part of the airport's Community Engagement Strategy.
