Gatwick Airport To Gain A New Reykjavik Service

Users of London Gatwick Airport are set to benefit from a new Iceland Express service to Reykjavik, due to commence on September 16th.
The new service will see flights departing from Gatwick to the Icelandic capital on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 9pm, with fares starting from £69 one way including taxes.
Return flights leave Keflavik International Airport at 4:05pm arriving Gatwick at 8pm (local times).
Vikki Joyce, head of sales at the airline's UK representative, Flight Directors, commented: "We are already working closely with many of the specialist Tour Operators to Iceland and hope that our new Gatwick service will encourage others to feature this incredible destination in their future programmes.
"We have special Tour Operator fares available, plus some un-matchable group rates and as it's a brand new service our availability for the whole of next winter is currently good."
Grist Magazine recently ranked Reykjavik first in its '15 Greenest Cities' list.
