Glasgow Airport To Offer New Island Flights

Glasgow Airport users are set to benefit from new flights to the Greek Islands, the Glasgow Evening Times has reported.
Teleticket will offer weekly flights from Glasgow Airport to Heraklion, the capital of Crete, between May 20th and October 21st 2008.
A new route to the beach resort island of Rhodes will also be introduced by the travel company, with flights operating between May 21st and October 22nd.
Teleticket will also introduce a variety of other routes from Glasgow later in the year, including two flights to Arrecife in Lanzarote in October this year.
In addition, there will also be flights available to Tenerife, Paphos and Gran Canaria's capital Las Palmas at various points in the same month.
Neil Chapman, managing director of Teleticket, commented: "These additional regional Scottish flights in October will expand our already successful Scottish flight programme from Glasgow."
Glasgow Airport's million-pound Skyhub extension is due for completion on October.
