Glasgow Flyers Will Benefit From Heathrow's Terminal 5

From March onwards, all BA flights from Glasgow to Heathrow Airport will land at the new Terminal 5.
The terminal complex, which cost £4.3 billion, promises to offer both business and leisure travellers from Scotland an improved service for onward connections.
Gordon Dewar, managing director of Glasgow Airport, said that the new terminal would "transform the experience" for passengers flying between Scottish airports and Heathrow.
"Terminal 5 passengers will enjoy a seamless service in a world class facility, while other passengers will also benefit from the ongoing transformation of Heathrow's other terminals.
"Heathrow remains an important destination for business and leisure travellers, not only as the gateway to one of Europe's biggest financial centres, but as a hub for onward connections."
More than half of all passengers flying through Heathrow Airport will be handled by Terminal 5 and its two satellite terminals, which have a combined capacity of up to 35 million passengers.
