Glasgow Prestwick Awarded For Being A Healthy Workplace

Glasgow Prestwick Airport has been awarded for its efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of its staff.
The airport received the Healthy Working Lives Award at a ceremony in Edinburgh, in recognition of the steps it had taken to improve health in the workplace.
Measures included providing staff with fruit baskets and also opening a Health Promotion Suite in the airport terminal.
Sonia Rafferty, human resources manager at Prestwick Airport, commented: "We recognise the health of our employees is crucial which is why we introduced a range of measures which have led us to achieving the Healthy Working Lives Award.
"We are proud that through a collective effort we have been able to introduce real changes which have gone some way in making our environment here at the airport a healthier place to work."
The award has been presented to 31 other organisations since it was launched last year.
