Hand Luggage Restrictions Relaxed At Humberside Airport

Hand luggage restrictions have now been lifted for passengers travelling from Humberside Airport.
Following the approval of the Department for Transport, passengers are no longer limited to one item of hand baggage per person.
The airport noted that the new security arrangements will be welcomed by business passengers in particular, such as those travelling on one of the four daily KLM flights to Amsterdam.
Rob Goldsmith, managing director of Humberside Airport, commented: "We are delighted to receive approval from the Department of Transport for the new security rules.
"However, as some airlines may still retain the one-bag rule, we strongly suggest you check with your airline on the cabin baggage arrangements for your particular journey.
"And passengers should also remember that restrictions on liquids they carry in hand baggage are still in force."
Passengers at all UK airports are not permitted to carry more than 100mls of liquids or gels in their cabin luggage.
