The rating would have been higher had it not been for not being able to leave straight away as the system said I owed £48 more but the guy at reception sorted it out but not funning after getting of an early flight

Everything went smoothly till we tried to exit the car park after a long flight. The ticket stated, to insert at exit barrier which we did.An amount of £270 owing was displayed.I had paid upfront.I went to Customer services and the gentleman updated my ticket and it worked by letting us out of the exit barriers.Lots of people seem to have this problem. Will use again and is recommended.

Ron Harris says:
Booked on-line. Finding and entering the Car Park was no problem. The machine recognised my numberplate, issued me with a ticket and let me in. Coach soon arrived and took me to the terminal, so far very good.
Departing was not so pleasant. On inserting the ticket, the machine told me it wanted another £125 to let me out, even though I had paid on-line in advance. Had to move two other cars to reverse out and try another exit, same result. Had to find the office and explain the position to the staff on duty. Couple of taps on the keyboard of his computer and the problem was solved. The ticket was subsequently accepted by the machine and it let me out. Why did the machine not know I had paid in advance and let me out in the first place. The machine at the entry point knew who I was!

Angela says:
Reservation was easy, impressed when my ticket printed my reg no. but when trying to leave the ticket did not register that I had already paid! I had to then go to Customer Services with my printed confirmation (lucky I had it with me!)to enable the ticket to be validated. An otherwise good service was spoilt by this recurring issue with airport parking.

Mrs Eva Newberry says:
The online booking is simple and easy to use. There is an expectation that because you have entered your registration number that you will be "recognised" at the entry to the car park. This doesn't happen. You still need to take a ticket from the machine. Your unique reference is not used. Transit to and from the terminal were quick and easy. The only fly in the ointment is that even after booking and paying in advance, you still have to go to customer services with the coupon to exit the car park. It was late and pouring with rain when I got back. There are no spaces allocated for customer services so you are left trying to find another parking space close to the exit. Not easy. Need a system whereby customers can get their ticket programmed for exit at the terminal or on the bus, so that once back at the car we can get in and go!
