Heathrow Offers Chance To Learn About Conservation Sites

Plant and animal lovers who are keen to explore conservation sites near Heathrow Airport will be able to take advantage of a series of educational walks and talks to be held this year.
In April and June four 'Discover Heathrow' events will be conducted by the airport's environment team, giving people the opportunity to learn more about two conversation sites in the area.
The first of the sites that the team will be touring is Oaks Road, an area of scrub and grassland, which, it is noted on Heathrow Airport's website, "provides a locally important habitat for birds and butterflies, and potentially for a wide variety of wildlife".
There are two chances for people to catch the educational walks and talks at Oaks Road, with events taking place at 11am on April 8th and June 18th.
Proceedings at Two Bridges Farm, the second of the sites, take place at 11am on April 9th and June 19th, offering people the opportunity to explore a site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation.
