Isle Of Man Flights From East Midlands

Isle of Man-based carrier Manx2.com has said that it plans to launch a new service from East Midlands Airport.
The airline will start flights from the Midlands hub to the Isle of Man on March 3rd and tickets are already available for just £39 one-way including taxes.
Manx2.com will operate the route once a day throughout the week, including on Sundays.
Stephen Turner, the general aviation manager at the airport, commented: "I am delighted to welcome manx2.com to our portfolio for 2008. The route will be extremely popular with the region's business traveller due to its daily service but also convenient for the leisure passenger due to the short flying time and the home from home feel the island has to offer."
James Filleul, communications director for the carrier, added: "East Midlands Airport is our sixth destination from the Isle of Man and we are excited about the prospect of maintaining the strong business links the island has with the East Midlands region as well as welcoming tourists to the area."
Earlier this month, carrier bmi said that it was set to launch a new service to the German city of Cologne from East Midlands Airport.
