Leeds Bradford Achieves Highest On-time Performance

Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) announced yesterday (Monday, April 21st) that it was the best performing airport overall in terms of punctuality in the final quarter of 2007.

The latest punctuality statistics from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) revealed that during this period, the airport had the shortest average delay out of the top 75 destinations surveyed.

LBIA was revealed to have had an on-time performance of 84 per cent - the highest achieved amongst the 75 destinations in the final quarter of last year.

Peter Willis, operations director at LBIA, commented: "We are delighted that the airport has again been commended nationally for its punctuality records and that we continue to provide a pleasant experience for our passengers when they travel through Yorkshire's premier Airport.

"The hard work and commitment of our staff and our close working relationship with our airline partners enable us to continue to offer this high standard of service."
