Leeds Bradford Airport Launches Service To Islamabad

A new direct route is to operate between Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) and the Pakistan capital of Islamabad.
The service was officially launched by LBIA and the operating airline, Shaheen Air International, during a recent evening reception at the famous Mumtaz Restaurant in Bradford.
Commencing on Thursday, February 7th, the service will offer passengers from the Yorkshire region a direct way to reach the Punjab.
Sally Ramsey, marketing and business development manager at LBIA, commented: "We have recognised the demand from our multi cultural region for easier links to the Indian Subcontinent and welcome Shaheen Air International as a new business partner serving the people of Yorkshire."
The service will run twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, with return fares starting at £460 including all taxes.
