Leeds Bradford Increases Flights To Southampton And Aberdeen

Leeds Bradford International Airport is to offer Yorkshire travellers more flights to Southampton and Aberdeen.
From March 3rd 2008, UK regional airline Eastern Airways will now operate four flights each weekday to both destinations.
Sally Ramsey, marketing and business development manager for LBIA, said that this was "good news" for the airport and the Yorkshire region.
"Eastern Airways offer an excellent product from Leeds Bradford Airport and these additional flights will meet the demands of our business passengers offering even more choice when making their travel arrangements."
Chris Holliday, Eastern Airways' chief operating officer, commented: "Seat capacity will be increased by up to 33 per cent and our convenient flights save business travellers valuable time as they are significantly quicker than road or rail alternatives."
In 2006, Eastern Airways won the European Regions Airline Associations' Gold Airline of the Year Award.
