Lufthansa Was Heathrow's 'most Reliable Carrier' In 2007

It has been revealed that Lufthansa was the most reliable carrier operating at Heathrow Airport in 2007.

Last year average delays of 12.22 minutes were seen by the airline, according to figures published by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and analysed by Flightontime.info.

This represents seven minutes less than average delay at Heathrow Airport.

Commenting on the statistics, Marianne Sammann, UK and Ireland general manager at Lufthansa, said the revelation helped to strengthen the reputation of the airline.

She stated: "2007 was another record breaking year for Lufthansa as we set a new airline record for passengers carried to and from the UK and Ireland for the second successive year."

The German airline recently launched a dedicated Personal Assistant service at Heathrow Airport, which is available to its First Class customers and HON Circle Members.
