Transfer Information
24hr service operates regularly at peak times, taking approx 15 minutes.
Arrival Procedure
On arrival park at reception, check-in and your car will be parked for you. Transfers operate 24 hours a day You should allow 50 minutes to check in and transfer to the airport. During the morning and afternoon busy periods you should allow more time to compensate for traffic delays.
Return Procedure
On return, simply wait where you were dropped off & the 20-minute bus service will transfer you back to the car park.

Driving Directions
From the M1 North and South exit at Jct 10. At the roundabout at the end of motorway slip road (Jct 10A) turn right following signs for St Albans/ Harpended (A1081). After 500yrds take next right towards Slip End. Drive under motorway slip road and take next left (B4540). At lights in Slip End turn right. Then 1st left into service rd, entrance to Airparks is 100 metres on right.
NB: whilst local roads affected by M1 widening works from 27 Mar to end Oct 06.From M1(North & South) follow these directions: Exit M1 @ Jct 10. At r'about (over Motorway) take route towards Luton. At next r'about(J10a), turn right for A1081 to St Albans/ Harpenden. After 500 yards take next right (Newlands Rd) towards Slip End. Proceed to T-junction (Barn Owl pub ahead) and turn left to Caddington. Follow road under Motorway (M1) take next left onto Woodside Road,then next left into Grove Road just after the Plough pub on the right hand side of the road. Road narrows as it enters Slip End village boundary. 100 yards before traffic lights with pet store on left, take right turn into site approach road. Entrance to Airparks is 100 metres on right.

Have streamlined check in and out process to reduce cost but need to communicate changes better to customers in advance to avoid confusion and blockages

Very good, except for the drop off and pick up point which are out in the open. Suggest AirParks lobby the airport to get a covered way to the bus stop and a shelter at the stop. We had to wait for a second bus while the first bus (which was full) departed and even though it was May, there was a cold wind.

Used Airparks for the first time while we went on a week long holiday. On return at 1.30am, were told our car 'was not ready', even though they knew 7 days in advance what time we would be picking it up.
Receptionist radioed for our car to be collected from storage. Meanwhile several car-collection drivers were arriving and dropping off keys for cars they had brought round from storage. Some were for collection at 7.30 in the morning.
Not sure why they were collecting cars in the wrong order, but when they have a week to arrange your car, the last thing you want to be told at 2 in the morning is that they do not have your car ready yet.
Receptionist blamed 'refurbishment' work but refurbishment or not, you can still organise your staff to collect cars in customer-pickup-time order.
Terrible service. Waited over an hour for our car to be brought round. No apology. Receptionist was just argumentative.
I am 7 months pregnant and the bus driver just sat and watched as I struggled to get my car on and off the bus and the luggage racks.

checking-in process is very easy and buses run very frequently to the airport, so waiting time is minimised. Would recommend this to anyone flying from Luton.

The service at the depot was good, but waiting for c30 mins in the rain at night on return was not fun. The staff were also very rude to somebody who rang to complain about the lack of a bus. They must know when flights come in, and without any outgoing flights the wait should be no more than 10 mins.
