Fast-track security lane introduced at Luton Airport
London Luton Airport has announced the launch of a new fast-track priority security lane.
The new option will allow passengers to pass through checks more rapidly for a £3 fee.
London Luton Airport commercial manager Simon May said: "It is important to offer a choice of services to suit all passengers and we know that some people value being able to guarantee the quickest route to the security search point.
"Feedback from passengers that have chosen the priority lane has been very positive," Mr May continued.
The airport website also reports that passengers without change are able to pay for the service using a credit or debit card.
Luton Airport serves some 10 million travellers annually, a figure that showed a 400 per cent increase between 1997 and 2007, its website reports.
The facility employs 500 people and offers flights to more than 100 international destinations.
