MONARCH GETS INTO THE SPIRIT OF GIVING AT CHRISTMAS

Charter airline Monarch is set to spread some festive cheer with its 12 Days of Christmas promotion.

The carrier, which flies from a number of UK destinations including Newcastle Airport, is offering a range of deals over the holiday season.

A possible £40 saving can be made when booking certain return flights online, up from the £10 saving usually available.

Each day during the promotions the airline will advertise special deals to specific destinations, with customers able to make savings on their normal fares.

For example the discounted routes of Manchester Airport to Lanzarote (from £55) Birmingham to Tenerife (from £56) and London to Larnaca (from £60) are available today, December 3rd.

In addition, there is also the chance to save as much as 67 per cent on car hire in a number of destinations and a special prize draw to win a pair of return flights.

Monarch was founded 40 years ago this year and was recently named Best Charter Airline at the prestigious Telegraph Travel Awards 2008.
