More New Bmi Flights From East Midlands

An airline has revealed that it will offer a new service from East Midlands Airport to Germany.
Carrier bmi regional said that flights to Cologne from the Midlands hub would begin operations on February 11th, 2008.
The six-times weekly service to the German city will replace the Cologne route that used to be served by easyJet.
"We are delighted that bmi regional has chosen to start their Cologne route from East Midlands in February," commented Caroline Plant, marketing director at the airport.
"This is an important destination for the business traveller in the region and I am sure that it will also be a very popular destination for the leisure traveller alike."
Passengers will also be able to travel onwards to other German cities, including Hamburg, on the flights of bmi regional's Star Alliance partner, Lufthansa.
Recently, bmibaby revealed that it was adding new services to Nice in France and Gdansk and Warsaw in Poland from East Midlands Airport.
