New Bristol-Oslo Service Launched

Users of Bristol International Airport are set to benefit from the introduction of a new service to Oslo.
Following the launch of the service on Sunday (March 30th), Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) is now operating three flights a week to the Norwegian capital.
Flights depart from Bristol every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and the service will operate until October 23rd.
Travellers can choose from Business, Economy and Economy Extra services, with one-way fares starting at £29 including taxes.
Paul Kehoe, chief executive of Bristol International Airport, commented: "The launch of the new Oslo route, to be followed by the return of a Stockholm service this summer, shows the potential of the south-west as a leisure destination for Scandinavians.
"The region proved popular with visiting Swedes last year and we are confident Norwegians will also enjoy the attractions of Bristol, Bath and beyond.
"As the seventeenth capital city served from Bristol International, Oslo extends the choice of destinations available to leisure and business travellers across the south-west, further reducing the need for road and rail journeys to London airports."
