New Egypt Service For Glasgow Airport

Users of Glasgow Airport are set to benefit from a new route to Hurghada in Egypt, Easier Travel reported yesterday (Thursday, April 17th).
The once a week service, which will begin operating on Wednesday, November 5th, is part of flyglobespan's recently announced winter schedule, which also includes flights between Edinburgh and Sharm El Sheikh.
Prices for flights from Glasgow Airport to Hurghada start at £119.99 one-way including taxes and it is expected that the airline will announce further winter routes over the coming weeks.
Gordon Dewar, managing director of Glasgow Airport said: "Egypt is proving increasingly popular with Scottish holiday makers. Its culture, history and landscape make it a quite unique holiday experience, and visitor numbers have been growing consistently.
"With flyglobespan making a welcome addition to the market with new flights to Hurghada, holidaymakers flying from Glasgow now have even more choice."
