New Routes From Birmingham To Girona And Pisa

Users of Birmingham International Airport can now benefit from new routes to Barcelona (Girona) and Pisa.

The two services, launched by Ryanair yesterday and today (Wednesday, April 2nd), are the first of 20 new destinations due to be introduced by the airline at Birmingham Airport.

These additional routes, which will include flights to Oslo, Stockholm and Marseille, will bring the total number of destinations served by Ryanair from Birmingham to 22.

John Morris, head of corporate and community affairs for Birmingham International Airport, commented: "The launch of these two brand new routes offers increasing choice for passengers travelling from their local airport.

"It's an exciting time with Girona and Pisa being the first of 20 new services that Ryanair will operate from Birmingham International Airport over the coming months and we're looking forward to working with the airline to make the operation as efficient for our passengers as possible."

The services to Girona and Pisa both operate three times a week.
