New Stansted To Palanga Service To Be Launched By FlyLAL

FlyLAL, also known as Lithuanian Airlines, will officially being operating the route on May 17th. The twice-weekly flights will depart from the London airport on Thursdays and Saturdays and will last just two hours and 30 minutes.
The outbound flights will depart at 8.15am and will arrive at Palanga International Airport at 12.50pm. Inbound flights will leave at 6.55am and arrive at Stansted at 7.25am (all times stated are local).
Indre Trakimaite, FlyLAL spokesperson, said that FlyLAL believes the convenience of the direct flights will be attractive to British travellers.
"Direct flights from London to Palanga offer a splendid opportunity to visit the beautiful Curonian Spit, the seaport of Klaipeda, and the popular summer resort Palanga and its Amber Museum - which has the largest amber collection in the world - and many other places of interest."
The beautiful resort of Palanga is located close to the Baltic Sea in the western part of Lithuania.
