This is a well lit car park, with high security fencing, CCTV and 24 hour patrols.
Pink Elephant Transfer Information - Stansted Airport Terminal
Transfers from this car park operate 24 hours a day, run every 20 minutes and take approximately 10-15 minutes. Please allow 45 minutes for check in and transfer to the airport.
Arrival Procedure for Pink Elephant
Upon arrival at the car park drive up to the entry barrier. The machine will read and recognise your car registration number. This should take about 15 seconds. A ticket will be printed showing your booking reference and the barrier will lift. Park your car and transfer to the airport. Please ratain your ticket until your return.
Please note: If the barrier does not provide you with a ticket within 15 seconds, press the button for a ticket.
When you get back to Stansted Airport
If your ticket does not have your booking reference printed on it above the barcode, show your ticket and your booking confirmation to a parking attendant, or press the call button on the exit barrier for help. However, if your ticket does have your booking reference printed above the barcode simply drive to the exit barrier and insert your parking ticket into the machine.
Additional Information about Pink Elephant
This car park uses an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system, so make sure you enter your vehicle registration number correctly when you make your booking. Please bring your booking confirmation to the car park.
Please note that parking charges are calculated in periods of 24 hours from the time you arrive at the car park until the time you depart. If your actual stay is longer than your booked stay, you will be charged extra on departure at the car park's standard daily rate. No refund will be issued for part used stays and any additional time will be charged at the local gate rate. Vans and Large Vehicles may be charged an additional fee, please call Park and Go for details.
How to get to Pink Elephant
Exit the M11 at Junction 8A (travelling from the south) or Junction 8 (travelling from the north) and follow signs for Stansted Airport, take the first slip road on the left signposted Long Stay. At the roundabout take the first exit signposted Long Stay Car Park. Go straight over the next roundabout. The entrance to the car park is 400 yards on the left.

Very good, easy to find and plenty of shuttle buses, Do note which colour zone and bus stop No you park near as we saw several people looking for their cars when we came back, (we take a photo with mobile phone)allow about 30 minutes to park and arrive at terminal (bus takes appx 15 mins)

Parking fine, entrance did not read no plate
otherwise ok. On return OK but nowhere did the bus instuctions say any bus goes to area
Q for disabled and that it is a request stop
and the driver has to be notified. We did a tour of the car park by bus.

service was good however the parking system does not recognise foreign number plates and thus does not recognise a pre booking. When I tried to leave the place I needed to wait for assistance. The personal was very polite and I was able to leave with his help further problems.
