PURPLE HOTEL OPENS AT GLASGOW AIRPORT

Tomorrow (Thursday, February 7th) will see the opening of Scotland's first Purple hotel, near Glasgow Airport.

The Real Hotel Company's "premium budget" hotel is located four miles from the airport, just off Junction 26 of the M8 motorway.

It is "a short stone's throw away" from the city centre, giving guests easy access to shops and attractions.

The hotel has 103 rooms, including standard, executive and family rooms, with prices starting at £59 per night.

Each room is fully air-conditioned and comes equipped with a walk-in shower, flat-screen television and Wi-Fi amongst other features.

Iain Hamilton, general manager of the hotel, said: "The hotel will bring a new dimension to the market place with its 'no frills chic style' providing clients with everything they need and nothing they don't need."

The Purple hotel at Glasgow Airport also features a cafe-bar which is open all day.
