Regional Airports Offer 'quality Service'

Regional airports such as Cardiff can provide the "quality service travellers deserve".
That is according to airline Aer Arann, which announced its "continued allegiance" with regional airports.
Last August the Liberal Democrats revealed that delays at Heathrow had increased by 36 per cent over the past decade - an inconvenience that Aer Arann said is avoided by using regional airlines.
Colin Lewis, head of sales and marketing for the airline, commented: "Regional airports provide quality service on your doorstep and there is no reason for travellers to put themselves through the unnecessary stress that is associated with capital city airports."
He added that using regional airports also helped ease road congestion and was more environmentally-friendly.
Peter Philips, head of marketing at Cardiff International Airport, said: "You can fly direct to over 60 direct destinations, and over 400 Worldwide connecting flights from Cardiff International, and by continuing to offer new routes we can cut out hundreds of thousands of unnecessary journeys along the busy M4 corridor."
